| The la P'tite absinthe distillery is situated in Couvet in the Val-de-Travers, where the roots of true absinthe are to be found. A green fairy is hiding behind our labels 'Absinthe la P'tite' and 'Absinth'Love 69'. We are the first legal absinthe distiller in Switzerland, sold under the name of Gaudentia and we produce it as a family in an artisan way, as we did previously in clandestine times. Our absinthes are distilled in the purest traditional way, and represents the top of the range, distilled in ancient clandestine stills, with secret recipes carefully guarded for centuries. We always work with a basic product extracted from a minimum of 12 plants. Two of those are of course the 'tall' and the 'small' absinthe plants, two varieties of wormwood (artemisia). Nothing in the world can compare to our absinthes, with the best flavours and most pleasant bitterness.
